To improve the income level of the farmers by providing livelihood opportunities.
To improve the age old practice of farm yard manuring by modern scientific interventions.
To set up a CFC with a microbial culture room, a vermiculture pit, a soil testing laboratory and a training center for
enriched composting/ vermicomposting.
To improve the sustainability of the farmers by providing them need based support and high price for the compost
To introduce new value addition in the farmyard composting introducing advanced technology
To build the capacity of the farmers and make them future ready
To bridge the gaps though adequate intervention so as to make the farmers aware of the use of agro-forest waste for
making valuable products
To initiate a culture of finding alternate use of agro waste in the cluster
To link the cluster with support institutions for continuous improvements.
Triloki Enriched Composting/Vermicomposting Cluster is under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries, governed by the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises with Foundation for MSME clusters (FMC), New Delhi as a nodal agency and with the technical support of the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan
Bioresource Technology, Palampur (technical agency). There was a huge gap in technical knowledge, inability to produce quality products, lack of marketing skills, and absence of proper support mechanisms.
This cluster aims to promote the skills and livelihood of 200 artisans in the Rumbuk Gram Panchayat.
CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, has been empaneled as Technical Agency (TA) to provide technical assistance. With scientific interventions, TA insists on implementing efficient psychotropic bacterial consortia (with plant growth-promoting attributes) for
faster degradation of organic waste to produce high-quality enriched compost. The cow dung from the cattle sheds of the artisans along with agroforestry biomass are used for the preparation of enriched compost/vermicompost, which has reasonable demand in the market because of high nutrient values.

Our work
Diverting waste from landfills is excellent, and vermicomposting also produces nutrient-rich castings for your garden.
A bin with a couple square feet of surface area 8 -16 inches deep works well.
Vermicomposting has some challenges as well. You need to make sure you don’t let your worm beds dry out or keep them to wet. Worms like fruit, vegetables, coffee grounds, and pasta. Don’t feed them meat scraps because it will smell and attract unwanted pests.
Our love and passion for social services and committed hard work of our team with professional competency and integrity today ARAVALI have made its mark in the field of Rural Development
